How much time should I use the app to study each day?

You can start learning effectively with just 5 minutes a day. Each unit is short, so you can easily fit it into spare moments or before bed. Over time, you’ll naturally develop the habit of engaging with English as part of your daily life, rather than just “setting aside study time.” Even if you’re busy, consistent daily practice will steadily improve your listening and speaking skills.

When will I start noticing improvement in my English skills?

Results vary from person to person, but some learners start noticing changes in just 1–2 weeks, such as “I can understand more sounds” or “I’m getting used to the rhythm of English.” English Core focuses on improving your English responsiveness rather than test scores, so you gradually become able to keep up with natural-speed English. By continuing consistently, you’ll gain confidence in your English communication.

With English Core, you practice using expressions at a pace close to real conversations. AI scoring lets you objectively check your pronunciation, fluency, and response speed, so you can train your conversational instincts, not just memorize words. Can I practice pronunciation?

Yes, you can record your voice and get AI feedback on your accuracy and rhythm. This makes it easy to see which sounds you’re getting right. You can repeatedly practice difficult pronunciations, making it ideal for developing natural pronunciation.

Is it available on both iOS and Android?

English Core focuses on natural phrases used in real conversations, rather than textbook English. You can learn through authentic interactions in daily life, travel, cafes, social media, business settings, and more. With plenty of expressive and commonly used native expressions, you’ll develop practical English skills that you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

What does interacting with creators mean?

In the app, you’ll find videos featuring creators speaking English. By responding and pronouncing lines with your own voice, you can experience what it feels like to actually have a conversation with them. Rather than just listening, you train your English responsiveness through real “conversational back-and-forth.” It’s a new way of learning that’s like stepping into the video and speaking for yourself.

Are the creators native English speakers?

Many of the creators are native English speakers. You can experience real English that doesn’t appear in textbooks, including natural pronunciation, intonation, and slang. Additionally, some creators are Japanese speakers, offering videos that present English from a learner’s perspective.

Will I still learn something if I only watch the videos?

Yes. Even just listening alone can significantly improve your listening skills. The videos are full of expressions and gestures, making it easier to intuitively understand the meaning of English. However, if you want to improve your pronunciation and conversational skills, it’s most effective to combine watching with speaking practice.

How do I view my personal learning data?

Your pronunciation, fluency, and response speed are scored by AI and displayed as metrics “SIL” and “VTX.” This allows you to visualize your strengths and weaknesses and track your progress with concrete data. All records are saved automatically, so you can enjoy seeing your improvement by comparing past scores.

How much does it cost to use the app?

The app features stages from Unit 1 to Unit 50, with Unit 1 available to try for free. Initially, you can watch videos from 2 creators for free. Additional units and creators can be unlocked through in-app purchases.
Full access to all units is available for ¥500 per month or ¥5,000 per year, and unlocking individual creators costs ¥500 per year each. This system allows you to freely choose content at your own pace and according to your goals.
